A leader by definition is one that guides and inspires. It does't states one that stands out or more superior than the others, but instead it's the process of social influence in which one person can enlist and aid and support of others in the accomplishment of a common task.

Guess it comes from the confidence and the social level of a person. Sweet, guess I can be the inspiring one after all :)

I've finally come to realization, that when you are having something that doesn't belongs to you, it will never be yours.

I used to experience the same thing about what is going on right now, I told myself that I will never be like that. But due to certain amount of influences, I was forced to be what I once strongly protest against. When that happens, I knew that what I'm doing isn't me.

If people accomplish something for you, because of the fear that you instill in them, it's called extortion of willingness.

But if people do something because of the respect they have in you, it's called inspiration.

I choose inspiration, and I'll stay strong to it! I'll be myself now, nothing but the wisdom of God will be my guidance.

JB was complaining that his picture was the first thing that people see when they enter my blog. Well, he’s shy person.

Anyway, yesterday seems to be a very pleasant day, nice weather, less people in Campus, all things were going very well :)

Here’s the main reason of this post, thanks to the greatness of technological advancement, I get to thank most of the great people that went through all the trouble just to make my ordinary day extraordinary.

Friends’ version

What i thought: The day started normal, skipped Law lecture due to laziness :D I was all excited in the morning because apparently I was supposed to present to one of Tj’s uncle about ScoreA. Wore formal for the event. Followed TJ’s car to windmill, and he told me that his uncle is buying us dinner while we present to him. Or at least that’s what I thought so.

What really happened: All of the friends went to windmill straight after block lecture, patiently waiting. So the group become Tj’s “uncle”

Heart attack #1 – I was looking for Tj’s uncle, but so many familiar faces stood in front me instead. Surprised I was, but they said I was emotionless.

Heart attack #2 – Another bunch of friends came from behind whilst the birthday song was sang, I had no idea how to react.

Later on Shan lung, Tian Hao and Jo ee joined the fun with some Left4dead 2 action! Have a tea session after that, that marks the overwhelming birthday celebration of mine!

The day was great, one of the best moments of my life. This will definitely be sealed tight in my memory bank. :) Thanks guys!

Family’ version

Dinner was at Subang parade in a Thai restaurant. Blessings and wishes from aunt and uncle made my day. Great dinner, great family members, great cake.

Had a little celebration at the bar in Holiday Villa. Some beers and chit chat session with cousin Jason, it was awesome :)

2009 years ago, Christ was born. And so Christmas came along. 19 years ago, JB was born, and so my BEST Friend came along.

Despite of the quarrels and fights that we used to have, he would still be always there for me. No doubt, a great friend, a great guy.

However he’s a total opposite of me, a quiet cool type of guy. I guess that’s what made us clique so much. =)

Best trait of all? He’s still single and available! Come and grab him fast!

Hei guys! It’s really been awhile. I was all hooked up with the holiday mode before this, therefore causing some major procrastinating issues. But no worries, I’m back to blog! =)

Here today, I would like to share something about my perception of life. There’s always times where you have to make choices in life, it can either be on what you plan to dress for the day to even choosing which tertiary education to pursuit on.

The choices we make might not have effect on the outcome, but because of the choice we’ve made, it doesn’t really matter what the outcome would be.

For example, if the food at the cafeteria was totally horrible, normally I would be very unsatisfied and angry at the same time. But instead of putting the blame on the food for causing my despair, I can choose to be happy. I can learn to see it in another way, I can tell myself, hei, I’m getting my stomach full, what a lucky guy I am! (We do know there’s many people in the world who faces famine and even die from it!)

All I’m trying to say is, we are what we are because we choose to be. We’ll never know we might not have another tomorrow, so start choosing right today, Choose to be nice, Choose to be helpful, Choose to be hardworking and Choose to love.

I’ve made my choice for a better me, have you? =)

Once again, I felt extremely reluctant to leave my dear home Kuantan, I guess life has to move on. However, this time my trip seems a little more exciting than ever.

Thursday

Somehow, I arose from slumber due to the roaring thunders instead of the excitement that I felt. Thank Goodness I managed to reached Kuantan at about 1.30am. Otherwise the day would’ve been much more tiresome. But before I set foot into Kuantan, I received numerous sms-es enquiring about my whereabouts and my departure time. For a moment, I thought my friends are going to give me a surprise welcoming greet again in the bus station. haha such silly expectations of mine. Of course they would be in school during my arrival.

So the day started with a warm welcome from the THIAs, JB and Wai Tian visited us just after our lunch. We planned to buy presents for the July babies in Megamall but somehow only JB, Joyce, Rx and me managed to make it. Had a little catching up session at Old town,

went back to the house to get prepared for OBL’s birthday celebration at Han Nan’s new majestic mansion. That particular party was totally awesome! One of the happiest days of my life! Gratitude to Han Nan for his kindness.

Friday

School “visit”!

Got invited to their school, Sabs
Went for Chemistry class which was totally awesome!
Walked around the school to visit some of our old friends during free period
Went for PA class and got warned by the teacher for trespassing
Chatted with Hamyu after school while waiting for the librarians to finish their meeting
Had Lunch at Leo Star which serves excellent wanton mee

Slept for like 3-4 hours?
Had a great dinner
Went for tea at Old town again.haha
Went to Kah Ching’s house after tea
Chatted till electricity went out at about 12.30am

Sat outside Rx’s house and chatted with him and Da jie till like 2.30am?
Electricity came back at about 2.45am?

So that was all for one single Friday.haha. Such a packed yet Fun day i should say

Went for Futsal at about 7.30am

Chatted and slept at JB’s house from 10-12pm
Had FRIED RICE for lunch at 1pm
Back at RX’s house at 2pm
Chatted in Rx’s house with JB and RX till 4pm
4++pm went to the beach for Siting’s bday celebration

Chatted and stayed along the beach till 10pm

Monday

Went for breakfast with Nan Feng and Rx at 9++am
Went to Taman Teruntum at 10++am

Went to TC again at 11am

Went back at 1am
Slept from 3am to 7pm!
Treated the THIAs dinner at 8pm
JB came over for a little chat at 9-10pm

Went for Lin Chi Kang with Kah Joe and Barney at 10am
Went to TC, Kah Joe’s High school and once again Han Nan’s Mansion after Lin Chi Kang
Had another tea session with Kah Joe after dropping Barney off
Got back at 1am
Slept at 2am

Monday was quite an interesting day, cause I got the chance hang out with Nan Feng after such a long time. His driving skills improved although he is always ever still so nervous about his driving style.

Tuesday

Woke up at 8++am
Went breakfast with Rx, Joyce, JB and Nan Feng at 9am

Wanted to go to China Town but ended up in ECM mall
Went back at 11am
Watched some movie clips with Rx from 11-1pm
Had the most special Durian Rice lunch at 1.20pm
Started our flying to the bus station mission at 1.40pm
Reached the Bus Station at about 1.50pm
Got on the bus at 1.55pm
Waved Goodbye to Kuantan and dear friends at 2.00pm

So everything above was what basically I been through the whole trip. It’s the shortened version of it of cause but at least it gives a rough idea of what I’ve done. =)

For the whole trip, I would seriously like to express my gratitude to Rhen xiang and his family for being so kind for allowing me to stay at their place. Rhen xiang’s mum cooking are totally spectacular, if you would to ask where is the best food in town, Rhen xiang’s house would definitely be on the list, no kidding!

Also, for all those friends that I’ve met, thanks for sacrificing the time to spend it with me. Love you guys much!

Exams and assignments are finally done, for good! It’s been really a semester for all of us. Especially when this is only our first Sem in University. Endless events filled our 3 months journey. It’s been really a restless journey i should say, but overall, it was way more fun that i thought it would be, and exhausting of course.

One of the events that are still fresh in mind would be the team building event. That’s really something everyone should join. Friendships bonded, remarkable experiences, all of these would definitely be memorable when we leave for the real world.

Besides, during the whole semester, what i liked best was the support from our friends. Friends that were before, became even closer, unfamiliar faces became what known to be the best of friends today. Gratitude i should really give to those who helped us through the whole 3 months journey. It’s been a blast with all our friends around. =) Thanks for being part of my life.

What’s left now is to enjoy our one month break peacefully and quietly. Hopefully it’ll be a fruitful one! Happy holidays to all of my fellow Uni mates!

Exams are approaching in about a week time, however it seems that ‘procrastinate till the very end’ seems to be predominating than ‘study hard!’

As true as it sounds, guess what guys? I’m going for a movie! Blood : The last vampire. Well, I do hope and pray and wish I can finish my revision before exams. Godspeed! =)

However, there’s something I would like to share before i go. Anyone familiar with the term ‘lin chi kang’ ? awh damn. I miss the taste of it and I’m seriously craving for it now. And that Barney was telling me she had some in her fridge, back at KTN! (Don’t you worry, I’ll be back very soon also!)

Parents came this weekend. Conversation went like this

Mum: I still feel like staying a little more longer in here. (Sunway Pyramid)

Me: Ahhh, so boring. Give me ten bucks then.

Mum: For what?

me: I’ll go catch a movie whilst you stay

Dad: What movie? Never mind about the window shopping. We’ll watch with you then

And so, I watched 17 again with my parents. It was a really pleasant movie. It’s been like ages, since ice age i should say since the last time I went to the cinema with my parents. It was an awesome outing after all. =)

And guess what. I conquered the roads to Pudu and Pekeliling. For the first time ever, I drove to the centre of the city. It’s really an amazing experience but if given a choice, I would rather not drive there. It’s one hell of a hectic there. But of cause, it’s inevitable sometimes due to the fact that I’m staying in the city. Screw Urban life. I want my peaceful life back.

So for the weekends, it’s been really nice having my family with me. Went to Kah joe’s Church for a very interesting and humorous talk. Damn, i totally recommend his church if there’s anyone who are yet to attend one. Went to pick up Barney and gang from pekeliling. And that sums up my weekend.

Guess what?! We are free from assignments at last! The absence of the ‘stress-giving-monsters’ feels so good. Therefore, i granted myself 3 days of holidays.haha! Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Speaking of which, Friday was totally a blast! Class ended early as expected. First destination was prior decided. Me, Billy, Pei Wah, Nicholas, and Nicholas’s Gf went to Sunway pyramid for a game of bowling. It was quite enjoyable cause it’s really been such a long time since i last bowled. And guess what, I and Nicholas played 4 games in a row, that explains my current sore muscles.

After that, I got a text message from barney stating about a karaoke session. Well, it’s also really been a while since i last sang so why not!

We departed at around 11pm from barney’s house and the best of it was, all 8 of us which includes me, barney, Kah Joe, Ah jo, maggie, yichia, Shihui and Ruimin were all stuffed inside barney’s small little car. Despite of the insufficient space, it was all jam packed with fun and laughter. As the saying goes, the more the merrier! two thumbs up for that. =)

So the Karaoke session was totally perfect, we sang till our lungs burst inside out, haha. I had to almost shout every time i wanted to speak out after that. It was pure awesome-ness! Soon after we spent a fortune trying to burst our lungs, ah Jo always have the craziest idea! haha, going for pool is always fun, but at 3am in the morning makes it even more exciting. (We can merely see the holes, haha)

So that concludes our outing, with Ah jo being the champion of pool and Ruimin being the singing queen. =) It was a totally pure awesome-ness! I really had great time with you guys. It’s been really wonderful hanging out with each other. “Jam till you drop” would be our theme for the future outings! Need not to mention, gratitude goes to our dear little barney for organizing such a preeminent outing.

Addicted

The are a few things that I’m currently addicted, the first one would be the song ‘We are the reason’ by Avalon introduced by Windy, and the second one would be si-lee-ping! Speaking of sleeping, I went to bed approximately at 9pm last night and woke up at 9am. Haha, no I did not intend to indulge myself in slumber for such long hours. The accumulated sleep debt must be taking it’s toll on me i guess. I even had an hour of nap in the afternoon, how’s that for addiction! Not to say that I’m really exhausted, I just feel like lying down. Switching to lazy mode lately i guess.

I experienced one of the ‘earliest’ birthday bash during the weekend. The celebration was for our dear Shi Hui and due to the midnight movie she was watching, we had to wait till about 2am to give her the “surprise birthday wish”. It was fun though, and not to mention exciting. We hid in her room to wait for her return and we burst into the singing-birthday-mode when she opened the door. It was sure an enjoyable night (or morning).

Well, besides the new addictions and the birthday bash, my life is as usual. Assignments and exams bound to be one of the stress factors. I expect none of the unexpected until my semester break.

Worn out, physically AND mentally

Weekends was always known to be enlightening, however not for students of UniSa i reckon. Assignments that was pilled up since the dawn of April now seems to be haunting every each of the Sem 1 Unisa students. Speaking of assignments, Management and MCB is about to due on monday! Oh, how is that for a weekend huh? haha. Well, despite of the hectic schedule trying to cease those assignments once and for all, I kind of went on a “short break” to ease my stress.

A week before now, my cousins planned to go to Sunway Lagoon in conjunction of the return of my Australia relatives and “cousin’s outing day”. Well, all i could say is, its kinda habitual. Whenever they are here, Sunway Lagoon comes to us. That’s what it is. =) It’s been ages since the last time we hang out together, so it was pretty awesome being able to spend time with them. Oh, not to mention when I’m with my cousins, all of the expenses are sponsored! [ Gratis food! Yay =) ]

So, yea. Came back awfully low spirited to indulge on assignments. However, after a short nap, my sense of urgency kinda prompt me to get in touch with the assignments. ‘We’ kinda lost contact since wednesday. haha. So, let’s hope and pray that we would be able to finish by then huh! All the best, and may the force be with us! ( Randomness of the sound of imperial march reminds me of star wars =D )

Hectic, yet pleasant.

It’s been really a busy week, prepared for the final presentation last week. Thank God marketing presentations is finally over for good. Being lethargic for the whole study break, the starting week was a bit too much to cope. Despite the having a “chaotic” week, things got better during weekends.

Barney organized a YC session taking us ( Barney, me, JinJo, Rui Min)all the way to the curve. It was my first time venturing into “the walk” at such late hours. The atmosphere was outmost impressing with all the lights and all, the pathway filled with fancy dressing people. Despite the fact that all 4 of us dressed so casually, we were the unique ones among the crowd! How cool is that. Outfit really doesn’t matter, at least that was what i thought. Apartment was the place we choose, the ambience of the cafe was awesome. It really kinda looked like an apartment though. We chatted for about 2 hours before leaving. Upon departing, Jo came out with this idea of sleeping on the car park floor. It was fun! We really ought to do more of those next time =)

Reluctantly leaving, Jo mentioned about his hungriness which provoked our hunger for supper. I know, the crave for food is contagious! =) Went over to Murni for supper, it was breakfast actually, 1.30am was the time we reached there. Second round of a chit chat session. Well, it lasted quite a while i should say, we all left the place at around 2.45am. It was one of the latest night I've even stayed up, but let’s face it. That night was REALLY awesome, I even felt so reluctant when it was time to go. Reached home at about 3.15am, Barney insisted that i drive her car back afraid of me being robbed, so sweet of her isn’t she!

Overall, it was really an overwhelming night for all of us. We had serious fun. All gratitude goes to none other than our dear Barney, driving us all over for the whole day!

It’s been a while. During the whole study break week, I’ve been a very obedient child, staying at the house. Despite not going home, my parents came for a visit. So it’s not too bad for a so called “holiday” right. =)

Anyway, I found out that the weather is frigging hot. It has always been like that just that normally I'm not really affected by the scorching, burning, infernal sun due to the oh-so-cooling air conditionals in college. It’s like a frigging desert out here man! haha.

So, i figure out it must be the air conditional companies fault! Cause when the weather gets hot, people order, hotter, more orders, hottter, orrrrdeeers. Which contributes to global warming. Good Job guys, we are officially the global warmers! haha, and still we complain why the weather is so hot. =.=!!

Anyway, the month of April was a blast! So many people’s birthday, so many events, so much memories. here’s some flashback for you guys.

If you guys are wondering what’s with my life these days, here’s a post of snapshots for you guys. =)

Date : 10th April 2009

The day started with a morning sms from my senior, telling me something about my job. I woke up and found out it was 9.30! Crap, class is at 10 am.

Marketing class started with a group discussion, it was all so casual and relaxing.

After the group discussion, we were suppose to have a test but due to time constraint, Mr VJ allowed a never-happen-in-history-before incident which is to cancel the test. woohoo *all hail Mr Vj* =))

My current life is back to the usual college life, busy with assignments and tutorial works. BUT, something came into my life lately. That is the Rubik’s Cube. Ya, i know it’s been there for ages but what the heck, it’s still fun playing with it.

The story goes like that. My friend bought that cute little small cube, and he solved it in front of me. I was curious,how did he manage solved that damn thing in just a few minutes .Well, he taught me and here I am, addicted to Rubik’s cube. How magnificent isn’t it, just a small cube yet so much fun. =)

So, it’s the second week back at school for our friends who are studying. I feel so left out from studies; even though I’m currently not studying =D (I know, weird me)

By the way, today was movie day. My friends and I watched “Bed time story”, it’s about a story where incidents are bound to happen when the children tells the bed time story. Get me? (As in when it’s time for bed time story, they'll simply make up a story la, then the story happen in real life lo. Still don’t get? Go watch the movie then!)

One thing that I find familiar in show is, remember “Enchanted”? There’s a part where the guy says that there is no happy ending in this realistic world? Well, ya, it’s repeated in this movie too. No happy ending in this real world huh?

Apparently, I don’t really understand what the meaning of happy ending to them is. Let’s say a couple is very happy, then one fine day they dropped down a hole and die. You say it’s a sad ending, but hei, din’t they died happily? I mean they are happy when they die right. So it’s a sad happy ending? Haha, don’t mind that. Just a piece of my mind. Ya ya a silly mind.

Anyway, I’ve been thinking quite a lot lately. And I think it’s time where maybe, just maybe I will be working while studying. It’s a long story larh, for what I’m going to do.

But anyhow, another update of my life. Stay tuned!

Being recently unemployed, I’ve no intention of altering the way it is. I’m literally enjoying life. =) Sleeping till late hours, and having headache almost every day. (I get headaches if I wake up too late, I’m not like sleeping princess, she can sleep like a sushi roll and never wake up)

One thing about being so free, it feels like I’ve lost the purpose of life. I even loss count of the current date. Scary huh! But even so, there’ve been always something that always keeps me going with my life. And I’ll hold on to it, till the very moment of my last breath.

Hmm, one more thing about this holiday, I missed my friends dearly! It’ll be a long time till the next time we meet. =(

New Year, new resolution

Well, so here we are, 2009. It has been really a year for 2008. So many experiences that really got me more mature. Things were tough during the first year of my college life, but anyhow, I survived it. And there’s an old saying, “anything that doesn’t kill you make you stronger” and I guess it’s quite true. =)

One of the things that I realized the most after leaving Kuantan, that is you learn to appreciate what’s around you more. You don’t always take things for granted easily, because for me, I will only go on a searching spree when things are lost, not when they are there.

You know, to be honest, I really yearned for a college life in the city before my Spm examination. Day and night thinking of it until I even dreamt about it. =S But when I really got what I wanted, it’s not what I’ve expected, yes, much fun did I have for the whole year. But somehow, deep inside me, I missed what have been always there for me. A home, close friends, a peaceful life and my dog =)

Only when I came out of my comfort zone, I realized that I once lead a perfect life back then. Yet, I desire for more. So for this year, I want to learn to appreciate things more. To be more sensitive towards my surroundings. And to be closer to God.

Wow, my visit back to Kuantan this time was a blast! It all started with a normal bus ride back. Yet to know, when I’m about to reach, ( roughly about 30mins ) Bobo Tan called up and asked me where was I. We talked till the very moment I step foot on the bus station pavement. Gosh, I seriously can’t believe my eyes. Haha, all of them were there welcoming my arrival. I serious would burst in tears if they had a banner. Too bad no banner. =P Alright, all of them include JB, Joyce, Bobo, CM and Wai Tian. Thanks guys for such a warm welcome. Later on that day, we went for lunch and to Jb’s house for a gathering, playing some random games. And I guess the pictures will tell the story for itself.

Hah!! What a “coincidence”! Today as I was reading macro economics =.= Not sure for what specific reason, my attention was diverted to the monitor. I spotted something quite interesting. That is the URL to my sis’s blog.

Just one thing to share before proceeding to back to my studies. She mentioned kuantan ( that is my hometown ) as “hell”. To me, Kuantan is HEAVEN. Too bad we have to leave that place, haih. It’s sad isn’t it to leave the place where you grew up from. The only thing that I am very concern about is……where the hell am I suppose to stay whenever I come back to visit my dear-closest-bestest-all-time-good friends?? I know there have been invites to stay at their place but somehow, it’s bad staying FOC at people’s place eh? Haha….guess I should really make it up for that, so that their parents won’t go thinking “when is this annoying kid going to leave my freaking roof?”

Alright, conclusion is, Kuantan, bestest place you can ever find on planet earth and with all my closest friends there, it makes it a paradise where everybody live happily ever after. =) cheers

Friday as usual, there's a 50/50 chances that me and my friends will go lepak here and there.

So, it's the second movie and the last movie of the semester i guess. Because next week we're having a study break which obviously means no fun at all (for the whole freaking week!) After the one week break, Final exam is coming!! Help!

Madagascar 2 (with me alex as the main character =D)

It was a pretty funny movie i can say, we all laugh till our cheekbone was swore. haha. But one thing i realise, not sure the reason why all things comes with romance now. Even this show which is more for the children, too have the romance part of it. I guess love is everywhere yes?

After watching the movie, well, dear classmates of mine felt kinda bored. So we went for bowling! Oh gosh, it's been ages since i last "throwed" that heavy round bulge. Well, i was hesitating when i was invited for the game due the fact that i was short of money nowadays. I wonder where all my money went ah? *money? where you all fly to huh? * After having my friends convincing me that it's just RM5.50 per game - means cheap wor =.=, i decided to play.

Hmm, our game lasted awhile until the girls arrived just in time to see our final round of actions! We played just for fun right? But then everybody like competition, Keep on looking at the score board (including me =P)

After the game, everybody went back. Everybody was all tensed up for the coming accounts presentation. BUT, I was all tensed up with dota fever! >.<

Went to FTZ( ftz means a cyber cafe in Subang Jaya, very famous wan!) and played from 10p.m. till 2 a.m.

Well, ought to be studying now! No more fun for the coming two weeks, promised that I'll study till my brain burns all my cells to death! haha, just kidding. Till then...

Sometimes, what matters to us most is the little things in life which we don't see

Many things come and go, just like the waves in the sea. It comes ashore, but later subsides. But before this particular wave reaches the seaside, it travels from afar, very much away from the place that it is heading. Our friends are just like the waves. Many of us doesn't know each other before we became friends. Many of us are from diferrent backgrounds, but yet fate brought us together.

Today i would like to share a little something about the past. As we all have been through our happy moments, for example, parties, graduation, gathering, vacations e.t.c These ocassions just come and go. Just like a lightning, before you even notice it came, it's already at the end of it.

Today, I was reading a blog from one of my friend. It states " Bye bye SMK Tanah Putih" in the title of the post. As she would be leaving her highschool after her spm examination. (Well, we all assumed that we had already left highschool since the last schooling day right?? haha) She took pictures of the school and her friends at the last day of school.

Well, all this brings back fresh memories into my brain. All of a sudden, (I realise that I hadn't been homesick or hometownsick for a long time) I felt soo homesick/hometownsick. I was still living in the past as I was fuss about why time flies when there are always happy moments!!

BUT, see the title? I'm soo glad that i recieved an email from my friend, Salted fish, that sentence gave me a total different view towards life.

For all of you guys out there, if you are still complaining why why why is it over?!? Guess we should now change it to yay yay yay, it happend!! and guess what? I was there tooo!!

So today i would like to share with "you all" something that i find quite interesting. If you are a fan of High School Musical, i believe you would have already watched HSM 3. Having that movie as the first movie of my 3rd Semester in foundation, I did really enjoyed it really much (especially those singing part) Somehow, when the song " We're all in this together" was played in the movie in a different version that is a slower one, I was having visions of my friends and I in highschool having fun. I sorta wanted to cry out because those memories felt just like yesterday (But of cause din't la!) I was addicted to that song as the first moment it was played in front of me.

*SO, don't get the interesting part of it?? Haha, well, it would be the part where songs can really dig up your past and kinda showcase it infront of you only that it's in your mind*

I felt so touched knowing that i have made such good friends way back then. I learnt to cherish them more now.
